Edited by: Mr Vapor on 19/03/2007 15:51:19 Fimbulwinter (hereby referred to as HIRD) has been silent on the front of the entire Midular scandal. We are not well liked in the respected halls of the Republic, at least not on a public, vocal level. We have our supporters but as I'm sure most can agree with, it's really not smart politics to come out and support a terrorist organization like ours.
Regardless, one incident has peaked my curiosity. That being the upstart, non-pod pilot organization going by the name of "The Bloody Hands of Matar." It seems that the Matari Pod Pilot organizations that inspired them also want to distance themselves from the group. The unsavory incident that resulted in a riot and the death of Matari citizens left a bad taste in their mouth and they want nothing to do with it. While regrettable, such an event was bound to happen. Not taking responsibility for it, however, is a crime in itself.
So, I've come to offer something to the Bloody Hands of Matar. Namely, sponsorship.
HIRD will support and fund you. We will supply you with weapons and training. We will give you transport and focus. We will mold you into a fighting force of unimaginable ferocity. We will educate you in the ways of war. All of this is yours, under one condition....
Not one more single drop of Matari blood will be on your hands. If an event like the riot on Dober Harn repeats itself then we will hunt you down and eradicate you ourselves. There is no room in Matari civilization to kill our own.
What we will do is direct you towards the true enemy. The ones that sow the discord brought about in the Republic. The Demon Amarr Empire. We will put you in a position to destroy those who keep our blood kin in enslavement. We will sate your thirst to kill with a true enemy and we will never leave you behind.
You may ask yourselves as you consider this offer, why would anyone support us, especially a pod pilot organization? Because HIRD feels that its responsibility is the Matari people. Not the Republic and certainly not our impotent leader Midular. The people that make up the Republic are the important aspect and killing our own just makes us weaker.
So, if you want to strike at the heart of true evil, Marek Brandeira, then contact us and we will make it happen.

And here stands one of the Demon Amarr with the audacity to call me a dog! You see, Marek, this is who you should be fighting! These scum who hold our people!
What sense does it make to kill your own people when you have a target rich environment full of religious sycophants who would like nothing more than to see your head on a pike because you don't come from their diseased bloodline?
Please, all Amarr, lend more truth to my proposal.

It's not hypocrisy. If they force our hand and we do have to hunt them down, then we will be fulfilling a role for the good of the Matari people as a whole.
Pod Pilots have a responsibility. These people look to us as demi-gods. Someone has to take responsibility for their actions especially since they believe they are emulating a respected and well known capsuleer organization. We will take that responsibility regardless of whether they accept our entreaty.

Thanks Wren and to you as well Tar Kovsky. I'm sure all the Matari organizations can agree that it's time for a solidarity of our respective houses not a division. We must focus the tools at our disposal and turn them towards our true enemies and not each other. Karin Midular may be a weak and worthless leader in my opinion but that doesn't change the face of our own personal responsibilities. I will look forward to speaking with you Wren and anyone else interested in the subject matter.
Ahh, Aran...you know I have a soft spot for you big guy. If it wasn't for the fact that you work for the Amarrian waste then I could even call you brother. However that's not the way things are so I'll just address your question.
While our ultimate goal is to indeed destroy the Amarr Regime, I would point out to you that it is a large regime. These things can not be done overnight as I'm sure you're well aware. HIRD just wants to give the Bloody Hands of Matar the ability to get it hands....well, bloody. You can't attest to the fact that this fits in perfectly with the way SRS has always operated.
Our goal is far reaching if the Bloody Hands accept our proposal. We will train them and arm them like I said. Then we will put them in Amarrian stations, slave plantations and the like and they will sow terror amongst the Amarrian populace. What's really gonna get you though is that the Amarrians will allow this because they are too arrogant to believe that it can be done. They are too pompous to believe that in all their religious zeal that they can be wounded thus. It can happen and will happen.

Aran, I do god's work. I send him fresh souls to reap.
I would be proud to call you brother as well if only you would realize that Matari blood flows through your veins and not Amarrian. It's really too bad but I don't think we'll ever quite be on the same side. I do understand you though. More than I'd like to admit. My position is firm just as yours is to you.

Well Ms. Davion, I'm of the opinion if you focus and train a weapon correctly it invariably finds the right target.
As for the recent turmoil with the Republic, HIRD has no place in the politics of it as far as we are concerned. We are not a part of the Republic. We only feel a responsibility to the people. The Republic will work its problems out one way or the other. We support the call for reelections and we hope the Republic becomes a firm and trustworthy government for the people again soon. Until then, we will take the actions that we see fit.

Ms. Chishan, while I respect your opinions on the matter I have to disagree with you. Change within the Republic government needs to come through our tribal leaders and not violent protest. The Bloody Hands of Matar are ready to murder and kill anything that gets in the way of their ideals. The only thing standing in their way is other Matari. They are not focused in a constructive way to do good for the people.
My guess is that the majority of them are young. They have grown up in a Republic that is content with the status quo. The are disconnected from their tribal ancestry. Now, we can sit back and allow them to affect change within the Republic and kill their own or we can point the weapon to the correct target.
As I said, I for one will not sit back and watch them kill their own people and sow discord within the Republic that will only hurt the citizens. The leaders like Karin Midular will only use those actions for their own benefit and it will only hurt innocent Matari. I simply will not tolerate it and it goes against what HIRD stands for. If Bloody Hands persists in this manner, we will be forced to come down from the Heavens and put a strangle hold on them. We are well versed in doing such things and it is our responsibility to do as such. We, as pod-pilots, have too much influence and power to simply stand idly by while such acts occur.

Ms. Chisan, I understand that you feel the Bloody Hands of Matar are doing something important. I also understand that if indeed the people in power in the Republic are the true enemy then they can do some good. However, shedding of Matari blood by Matari is unacceptable. If the Bloody Hands choose not to accept HIRD's proposal then that is all well and good. They should seek peaceful protest. If they wish to spill blood then they should go against the real enemy, the Amarr. HIRD will not tolerate the killing of innocent Matari at home.

Well, "Blood of Matar," I see no reason to hide behind misnomers. I was looking forward from a response from your leader, Marek Brandeira. I have no proof you are even involved with the group you are here representing. Although, I'm sure they are reading this and thusly I will respond accordingly.
My name is Visian Muar'Tarkan and I have killed millions. Millions of Amarr, Gallente, Caldari and Minmatar. Millions of deaths are on my head. I have never made a claim of innocence in that regard. What I do not do is kill my own people in an act of cowardice. You want to fight a war? Fine but fight the true enemies. You will never affect a positive change in the Republic by killing the very people you claim to be representing. Perhaps we can all learn a lesson from that.
The fact remains, I have taken the fight to the Amarrians pup and you have not. I have died countless times only to be reborn to renew that fight. You...you have killed only Matari. Which one of us deserves no respect? You sound more like an Amarrian or Ammatar sympathizer.
I made your organization an offer and you have seemingly refused. Now, I will make another.
To the Republic, I offer a battalion of the SRS Marines. Over 4,000 of the most highly trained killers known to man. They have faced legions of Kameira Warriors and lived to tell the tale. The are superb at hunting down and killing any target known to man. Regardless of whether the Republic accepts this or not, they will become present in every area you operate in and they will have very strict orders that should you incite violence among innocent Matari people, your lives will become forfeit.
Now, to avoid this is quite simple. As my brother in arms Wren said, it is your choice. I will not, however, allow you to spill more Matari blood unanswered. My clan will not allow it. You do not represent the People at this current juncture in time. You represent why this Republic is failing in the first place. Corruption of purpose. If you will not act as a true Matari Warrior then you will be taught a lesson. I suggest you get your leader, Marek Brandeira, to respond with an alternative.
You don't have to respect me but you do have to respect our ancestors. I'll see to it that that happens one way or another.

It's really quite simple what I'm trying to do here.
If the Bloody Hands want something to kill, then HIRD can provide that. I don't judge them but I do judge their actions. Those "policemen" were Matari, the innocent people in the crowd were Matari. What would you tell the family of those that lost their lives that day? Sorry but you significant other worked for a corrupt government and deserved to die? Of course you wouldn't.
As of now, the Bloody Hands actions are a disgrace to their people. They make us look like the savages the Amarr claim us to be. Our infamous "Ray of Matar" makes it even worse by just standing idly by and letting our Republic fall into ruin. You want patriotism then I'm here to shove it down your throat. I believe in our PEOPLE. I don't believe in killing them. Firebombing a peaceful protest though....I guess that is the act of a true Matari.
Might I point out, once more for those not taking notes, that a full third of our kin still reside in chains under the auspices of the Amarr? Do you, any of you, think that these actions are going to help them under their yoke? I want to see a new leader at the head of the Republic more than anyone. I want to see action taken for those who can not take it for themselves. THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN WITH ACTS OF WANTON VIOLENCE AND DEATH UPON OUR OWN PEOPLE.
Listen to Kashaul Murik. He is a true voice of the Matari people. POWER TO THE TRIBES! Never, in all my days, have I heard a truer call. Stand behind your leadership. Voice your calls. Stand for what you believe but for Cizin's sake, do not kill your own blood in such a cheap and pathetic way.
I fear for the Republic and its people. I'm scared of what may happen should we stand idly by but I cannot and will not condone the shedding of Matari blood.
